Guardian International School (GIS) established in 2012 as a Nursery school in a 3 bedroom apartment , is the brain child of Guardian Foundation, founded by three illustrious Alumni of NIT, Calicut–Paul.N.Jacob (Mechanical Engineer), K. Vijayaraj (Electrical Engineer) and Sarto Rajendran (Civil Engineer). This school provides an enabling environment for the overall development of the students in intellectual, mental, physical, psychological, emotional areas and thus helps them mould into responsible citizens.
The school is specially committed to imparting Holistic Education to the children from underprivileged background. Partial or full scholarship is extended to nearly 50% of the children who hail from disadvantaged and economically marginalised families.
The school started off as a Nursery School in 2012 in Alagesan Nagar, Chengalpattu, around 55km south of Chennai. The same was upgraded as Guardian International School with CBSE Curriculum in 2014-2015 at the present campus in Periyamelamaiyur in Chengalpattu. By 2023 the school will have its own Eco friendly and Energy Friendly Building in a green environment in Mambakkam,10km away from Chengalpattu

Sarto Rajendran
A Civil Engineer, from NIT, Calicut, Sarto. Rajendran was also a successful Professional and have also been a successful Entrepreneur. Sarto was the Captain of Calicut University Hockey and Kho kho Teams, apart from being a member of the Kerala State Hockey Team. Sarto was also adjudged Best All-round Sportsman of NIT.
K. Vijayaraj
An Electrical Engineer, from NIT, Calicut, K.Vijayaraj, made a remarkable career as a Professional and also as an Entrepreneur. Vijayaraj was the Chairman of college Students Union apart being the Captain of college Hockey Team and a member of the Calicut University Hockey Team.
